Dear Parents and Students

Tuition

Nov. and December tuition will be due by the 10th of each month, please be notified our tuition is monthly.

Please have your children come on study hour and workshop to make up their hours.

Workshop

I strongly recommend students to join our workshops, we will not only provide math practice, homework help, but we will also design fun math games to encourage them to use math in their daily life.  

For high school students, workshops are the best time to review the math concepts and get ready for final exams.

Holiday

  • Nov. The center will be closed from Nov. 22nd (Monday) to Nov. 27th (Sat.) and resume on Nov. 28th (Sunday)…. Study hour 12-2pm 

  • Dec. The center will be close from Dec. 18th (Sat.) to Jan 8th (Sat.) and resume on Jan 9th (Sunday)…. Study hour 12-2pm

Workshops for students who are in first grade thru 8th grade:

  • November 13th (Sat.)   1pm – 3pm; 3:30pm- 5:30pm 

  • November 14th (Sun.)     2pm - 4pm; 4:30pm- 6:30pm 

  • December 5TH (Sun.) 2pm-4pm 

  • December 11th (Sat.)     10am – 12pm; 2pm – 4pm 

Students can participate two sessions from above schedule. (Appointment necessary)

Workshop for high school students.

  • Dec. 4th (Sat.) 1pm-4pm / (2-4pm for all the subjects)

  • December 12th (Sun.) 12pm-8pm / (12-2 pm for all the subjects) 

  • December 13th (Monday) thru December 16th (Thur.): 6pm – 9pm.

Dear Parents and Students

I hope all of you are having a good summer!  As the new school year is approaching.  It is important that we are all prepared to return, especially after the past year of the pandemic.  We are slowly returning to normalcy as students and teachers will be back on campus.  This is our time to give students the opportunity to have a fresh start in their education.  Whether a student needs help in their math course or to simply catch up, Monica Math is the place for you!  At Monica Math, we are always here for our students to reach their goals and overcome obstacles.

With the given circumstances, adjusting to what seems like a new life may be challenging.  However, with tutoring that adjustment can be made easier!  A more individualized learning approach provided with tutoring will allow for all students to gain a stronger knowledge of the subject, gain confidence and build necessary learning skills that can be used in everyday life.  Below you will find information for the upcoming semester.

Important Notice:

  • Registration begins Tuesday, August 3rd., 2021. Registration is on a fist comes first served basis

  • Tutoring for the fall semester will begin Wednesday, August 18th.,2021

  • Our study hours are unlimited based on schedule and will be available for monthly students only.

Fees:

A registration fee of $29 will be required for both monthly and hourly sessions.

Updates on the end of year

Dear Parents and Students,

We are approaching the end of the year. It has been a long and tough year given the circumstances. However, I am really proud of all our students for being able to persevere through these hard times. We are slowly returning to normalcy. Our seniors are going to college, students are returning to campus, we are able to see our teachers and friends.

Monica Math is always here for our students in reaching their goals and overcoming their problems. We are always here to help.

Important Notice

  • Last day of tutoring will be June 10th

  • June tuition will be partial of full amount depending on how many weeks you attended (please see statement attached)

Workshops for Kindergarten-8th grade

  • May 15th 2-4pm

  • May 16th 10am-12pm

  • May 22nd 2-4pm

  • May 23rd 10am-12pm

  • Students can pick one of these times, however; classes are limited to six students due to covid protocols. Reservations will be first come, first serve.

Workshops for high school students

  • June 5th 2-5pm

  • June 6th 2-6pm

  • June 9th 5-9pm

  • June 10th 59pm

  • All high school students can attend without reservation to prepare for finals

- If your school has a different final schedule than the workshops, please contact me and we will work around your schedule Thank you to all the parents and students for maintaining your trust in during this tough time. Summer Tutoring

Dear Parents and Students,

As many of you know the transition back into schools is in progress and we are slowly returning to normalcy. We will be offering summer tutoring so that children can return to the normal pace of regular school.

We are still offering both online and in-person tutoring with our safety protocols in place. We have set up the following safety regulations in order to maintain safety for the children.

Safety Protocols

- Masks are required to be worn during the full tutoring session

- Temperatures will be checked when entering the center

- Hand sanitizer will be provided before and after the session

- We will disinfect the center hourly

- There will still be a maximum capacity

We will be offering 12 hours of group lessons at a discounted price of $219. 8 hours of private lessons for $199. Group lessons will consist of groups of 4-6 students. Special classes for those struggling with addition/subtraction, multiplication/division/fractions will be available.

All lessons need to be scheduled ahead of time. The tutoring center will be open in July. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me. We hope you and your family are doing well and we hope to see you soon!

Spring Break Announcement

Hi Parents and Students!

For spring break, the tutoring center will be closed from 3/27 until 4/05.

On 4/05 we will allow students to go to the center for make up lessons.

We will resume regular tutoring hours and schedules on 4/06.

This year is a tough and hard years to every one of us, especially to our children, they are facing this  pandemic and learning from the difficulties of COVID.   

We can overcome these difficult times if we work together and protect our children in a positive environments.   We need to keep our children educated during these times as online schooling may be difficult.

Covid-19 Update

Dear Parents and Students,

As many of you know all schools closed down as of March 13 due to the Covid-19 virus. Because of this we are offering summer tutoring so that your child does not fall behind and is ready for the following school year. We are now offering online or in- person tutoring and have safety protocols for those who choose to do in person tutoring. We have set in place the following safety regulations in order to ensure our safety and the safety of the children

-Masks are required to be worn during the full tutoring session 

-Temperature will be checked for all people coming into the tutoring center 

- Hand sanitizer will be provided for the students to use before and after their session 

-Our staff will be disinfecting every hour 

-The amount of students allowed in at a time will be minimized to ensure social distancing 

We will be offering 8 private lessons a month for a discounted price of $199, all lessons need to be scheduled ahead of time.
